Purchase of an Electric Vehicle for Sustainability



The Department of Support Services has added an electric vehicle to its fleet to contribute to sustainability. Istanbul Gelisim University’s Department of Support Services purchased the electric vehicle for university transportation purposes to promote a sustainable world. Electric vehicles provide power through electricity instead of fuel, offering a viable option for using only renewable resources in transportation. Additionally, they promise a cleaner and quieter future for the environment.

Eco-Friendly Landscaping Arrangement for a Sustainable Campus

As Istanbul Gelisim University, we are taking our commitment to environmental awareness one step further. In 2025, as part of the landscaping efforts carried out across the green areas of our seven campuses, drought-resistant and low-maintenance flower species have been planted.

In 2024, 39,385 Kilograms of Waste Were Recovered at Our University Within the Scope of the Zero Waste Project

The Zero Waste Project, implemented at Istanbul Gelisim University to promote environmentally friendly practices, achieved significant progress throughout 2024. Between January 1 and December 31, 2024, a total of 51,667 kilograms of waste was collected, classified, and recorded as part of the waste collection efforts.
